I am a fifth generation resident of Brazoria County. My great grandparents arrived in 1904 and settled in Sweeny, TX. My husband, Robert Grayson Ward, and I raised our children, Dr. Jeff Ward, Mary Margaret Anderson, and James Ward in Sweeny also. I taught school for 22 years in Sweeny ISD, and my husband has been with Conoco Phillips for 29 years. I attended college at Wharton County Jr. College, Texas A & M in Kingsville, and the University of Houston at Clear Lake. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in education,a Reading Specialist certificate and a Real Estate license from Kaplan University in Houston.
